Jake

Everything felt different. That hot, sore ache that had been lodged around my heart for the past ten years seemed…less, somehow. Not gone, but definitely diminished. Even though I knew one hot, glorious weekend with Emma was all I was going to get, that alone gave me something to look forward to; a brief, glowing period of what felt a lot like…happiness? Was I actually happy? Yeah, maybe a bit. Wow, that was nice. Just to be able to be close to her, to touch her freely, to make her fall apart for me. All of this, and our dirty little weekend hadn’t even happened yet.

With the promise of it in the front of my mind, I pulled my truck up in front of the main supermarket, pulled my coat collar up against the drizzling rain and hurried inside. Grabbing a shopping basket, I quickly glanced around. Not many shoppers around, and nobody I knew. Perfect. Even though I didn’t know exactly when the weekend with Emma was going to happen, I kept picturing all the things I would do to her when I finally had her in my bed. I wanted to be fully prepared when it did happen, so now was as good a time as any to make a start on that.

I went to the back of the store, to the small section where all the adult products were kept. Personal massage oil. Body chocolate. Boxes of condoms. Pulling out my phone, I took a photo of the oil.

Me: Something to look forward to…

I attached the image and sent it to Emma. She replied straight away.

Emma: This is torture.

That made me smile.

Me: Wanna see what else I’ve got?

Emma: YES!!!

Me: Too bad. You’ll have to wait.

Emma: Asshole. I’m already half turned on. Might have to go to bed early…take care of myself.

Me: Thinking of me?

Emma: Of course. I’ll probably imagine…

Me: Imagine what? I prodded when I kept seeing her start typing but never send the message.

Emma: I don’t know if I should say.

I just could picture her blushing. So adorable.

Me: You can tell me.

Emma: Promise you won’t make fun of me?

Me: Of course not. And you never know, maybe I’ll like it.

A long pause.

Emma: Okay, here goes. I want to be tied up.

Scorching heat overwhelmed my system and I almost had to clutch at the shelves as all my blood headed south.

Me: Bad girl. Now I have a raging hard on in the supermarket, so thank you for that.

Emma: Sorry not sorry. Then she sent an animated GIF of a kitten with big, sad, apologetic eyes.

I smiled at that, but didn’t want to get off the subject of this whole bondage thing which was new and had me very fucking intrigued.

Me: So…tied up, huh?

Emma: Um, yeah. Not just with anyone, only someone I trust.

Okay, so this was a bit of a big deal.

Me: And you’re saying I’m that person you trust for this. Just to clarify.

She didn’t answer for the longest time, and I thought maybe I’d freaked her out.
